Next Lab Italy is the LABORATORIES division of Next Clinics, an international group that in just a few years has become one of Europe’s leading providers of assisted reproduction and clinical diagnostics, with 20 clinics and 8 laboratories across 9 countries.
Next Lab Italy is the LABORATORIES division of the international Next Clinics Group. In 2018, the Italian companies Archimed and Microgenomics, both long-established and highly qualified in laboratory diagnostics, specialised respectively in Cytology/Histology and Molecular Genetics, joined the division.
Over time, both Archimed and Microgenomics have grown steadily, becoming nationally recognised key diagnostic reference centres for the diagnosis and prevention in the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology (prenatal diagnosis, cervical cancer screening), fertility (carrier screening, preconception testing), oncology, microbiology and infectious diseases (including sexually transmitted diseases and, more recently, SARS-CoV-2), and finally in the area of Human Genetics/Molecular Cytogenetics (Array-CGH and NGS) for the diagnosis of genetic diseases that very often remain undiagnosed.
